What was accomplished?
Nothing.
What was demonstrated?
Acting and grandstanding. Posturing and strutting.
Who was the one with the biggest ego?
The President.
Obama to McCain: “We’re not campaigning anymore. The election’s over.”
Gee. Way to reach across the aisle. Bipartisanship indeed.
Leadership comes from above and if the President himself is behaving like this, how can he expect anyone else in Congress to behave any better?
